Gerard ELI was born in 1953 and works in Colomars and Vallauris (Alpes Maritimes).

His work is diverse, multifaceted and embraces many forms; from graphic design and writing to tangible materials.

Wood was the basis of his education, but no material or medium is abandoned in the search for the landscapes that design and shape the wards of his imagination.

His ceramics evoke musical scores that pay homage to architecture, nature, lightness, finesse and elegance.

They vibrate with the sensuality of nobility and his arrangements are in inconformity to any known or recognizable structure.

His "City" (POC 181) is the realisation of an imaginary urban environment, where the boundaries are endless and ones eye looses itself infinity as is passes over the details.

Let yourself be carried away by his poetry and let your imagination wander.
